Glenmore Lodge are Scotland’s National Outdoor Training Centre and are located in the heart of Cairngorms National Park. As a National Centre, they set the highest standards for quality of instruction, equipment, safety and environmental awareness. Their goal is to inspire adventure by teaching beginners, coaching intermediate/advanced and delivering training and assessment courses for leaders and instructors in adventure sports.

Glenmore Lodge’s areas of expertise are:
MOUNTAINSPORT: rock climbing, ice climbing, navigation skills, winter/summer mountain skills, ski touring/mountaineering, mountain biking

Belfast Activity Centre

Tiso are delighted to be the preferred clothing and equipment supplier to the BAC and are involved in many of their activities and events in Northern Ireland.

Belfast Activity Centre (BAC) initiated in 1988, is a personal development charity that aims to engage people from all backgrounds in programmes of activity that encourage them to reach their full potential and explore their social and personal development.

Based in Belfast, the centre works across Northern Ireland with a wide range of groups, charities and individual young people.

John Muir Trust

Tiso have had strong ties with the JMT from inception and continue to support the Trust in a number of ways including providing office space for the JMT in Edinburgh.

The John Muir Trust is the UK’s leading wild land conservation charity.

Through conserving, campaigning and inspiring people, we aim to make sure that wild land is protected and that wild places are valued by all members of society. Scottish-born John Muir inspired the Trust’s name and ethos, as the first person to call for action to be taken to protect wild land, and an instrumental figure in the modern conservation movement.

Tiso are happy to support Badaguish in various ways including the donation of prizes and support for their various events held throughout the year.

Badaguish, an outdoor activity centre located near Aviemore in the stunning Cairngorms National Park, is designed especially for people of all abilities as a place for them to explore, learn and develop new and exciting skills. It is committed to Access for All and to programs and facilities which offer equal opportunities in an integrated setting.

Tiso support Columba 1400 in many way including providing kit for staff and recently supported the Scot100 south pole expedition instigated by a Columba graduate.

Columba 1400 is a UK charitable organisation who design and deliver world-class residential leadership development experiences. The core of their work is with young people who have experienced significant personal and social challenges.
