Cannondale Slate 105

The Slate 105 from Cannondale is a different kind of bike from the norm. Not a road bike, not a mountain bike, but adept at being both when it wants to be, allowing you to take it on road and off road.

With 650b wheels, and 42mm tyres it provides the same circumference as a 700c wheel with 23mm tyres for speed, but you also get exceptional comfort and off road performance when coupled with the 30mm lefty suspension fork. 

With higher volume tyres comes much better small bump compliance when riding along poor quality roads, allowing you to keep with power down without getting your fillings shaken out.

Shimano’s 11 speed 105 drivetrain with Cannondale’s sweet HollowGram Crank provide great shifting performance, matched to Shimano’s Hydraulic disc brakes that provide excellent stopping power, whatever the conditions.
