283 munros, up to 1,344 metres, 35 hours of sunlight, 1 incredible summer solstice weekend
Can you help The Rock Trust climb every mountain?
The Munro Challenge is one of The Rock Trust’s biggest fundraising challenge events. During the summer solstice weekend this year, we aim to have at least one person or team of walkers on top of all 283 munros across Scotland.
With your hard work we hope to raise £20,000 in just one weekend! Take on an exciting challenge and transform the lives of disadvantaged young people affected by homelessness in Scotland.
The Challenge: By coming together on the solstice weekend – the weekend of maximum daylight – our supporters will provide a spotlight on the issue of youth homelessness and raise public awareness of this devastating issue.
We are looking for individuals, club members, work teams or simply groups of friends to take part in the Munro Challenge. We will help you identify a mountain that matches your group’s abilities, send you an information pack, offer fundraising advice and a Munro Challenge water bottle!
How it works: Once participants/teams have registered, they are automatically directed to choose their munro. The munros are ranked according to difficulty and they are allocated on a first come, first served basis – if the first choice of munro has already been chosen (marked as RED, unavailable), teams must choose another!
*Participants are able to take advantage of 10% discount at Tiso, with 5% going to The Rock Trust! Your Tiso discount voucher will be emailed to you once you have completed the registration process.*
