Join the John Muir Trust
The John Muir Trust was formed in 1983 to protect and conserve wild places. It is the UK’s strongest voice for wild land and protects 8 key areas of Scotland, including Ben Nevis and Knoydart, through ownership and management. Tiso have been closely linked with the Trust since its inception and hold a gold corporate membership as well as providing the Trust with office space free of charge within our own Head Office in Leith.
You can do your bit to help conserve the UK’s wild lands by becoming a member of the Trust for only £24. As well as the knowledge that your membership is going to a very worth cause, each year members receive several Journals and Members' News plus an Annual Report. The Annual Member’s weekend also provides an opportunity to participate in developing the policy of the Trust whilst getting to know fellow members.
You can also get involved more practically by taking part in conservation activities on Trust properties, contributing to the John Muir Award and Activities Programme, organising local meetings and events or fund raising.
Visit www.jmt.org for more information on the trust and its activities.
