A modern classic and the best value top-end axe on the market.

Designed primarily for steep and technical icefalls, the Viper is equally at home on the hardest Scottish mixed routes.

The adze and hammer are specially shaped for jamming/torquing and the T-rated shaft is very stiff thanks to Black Diamond's unique hydroforming technique.

They are fitted with a slimmer B-rated cascade pick but this can be upgraded to a T-rated Titan pick for mixed or Fusion pick for dry tooling.

Compatible with Black Diamond Lockdown and Android leashes but Fang (hand rest) and Strike (upper rest) make them perfect for leashless/lanyard climbing.
