- The Beal Joker (60m x 9.1mm) is a multi-purpose single rope, but due to it's lightness and low bulk, is the first single rope that can be used as a half rope, or a twin rope. Please be aware that as the diameter of this rope is only 9.1mm, not all self locking belay devices will work with this rope, some may give reduced braking power, and people may find it harder to hold. Furthermore, please be aware that colours sent may vary, if you require a specific colour please phone the Online Store to check on availability prior to ordering.

Tendon offer a degree to water repellency and abrasion resistance with their Smart Ropes, which not all manufacturers offer on their introductory level ropes.
