Granger's 2 in 1 Cleans and Waterproofs does not reduce the breathability of Gore-Tex® or other high-end waterproof and breathable garments nor does it change the look or feel of your favorite ski jacket or backpacking rain shell. Granger's 2 in 1 is great for mid-season tune-ups or times when you are in a rush but for that once-a-year overhaul Granger's recommends their G-Wash Cleaner and Wash-in Waterproofing for Synthetic Fabrics.

Wash-In Cleaner Plus includes the PLUS additive that eliminates odors. Use on old garments to clean and prior to re-applying restorative water proofing treatments. Traditional soaps and detergents often contain perfumes, bleaches and fabric softeners that leave water-attractive residues covering up the fabric's water repellent finish. These residues breathability. Regular use of Wash-in Cleaner Plus revives the performance of technical fabrics like Gore-Tex, eVent, Sympatex, Precip, Dry-Plus and Helly-Tech.
