- With superb balance, leashless capability and an optional integrated leash, the Viper is a technical, all-terrain tool. It offers the greatest clearance of any technical Black Diamond tool due to its minor axis shaft orientation. Each tool is equipped with the Viper Fang, a lower attachment that cradles your hand. It fights the pump along with a smaller, dual-density, hourglass grip. For hard ice climbing, use the optional integrated Viper Android Leash, and for running it leashless, attach the optional Viper Strike upper grip attachment. CEN- T certified.

- Black Diamond Equipment Blizzard II Harness
- With a wider fit range than other climbing harnesses, the Blizzard will fit over tons of clothing for arctic temps while adjustable leg loops allow for all-season use. Its compression-molded, bullhorn-shaped waistbelt helps minimize the suffer factor on multi-pitch ice routes, while working M-climbs or on long rappels. Snow-shedding fabrics on both interior and exterior provide a hydrophobic barrier. The Blizzard also comes with a new Ice Clipper for racking screws, and nine Ice Clipper slots for more racking options.

It's made from flexible Malden Softshell with Polartec Power Shield to shed moisture and provide a dexterous, free-moving fit. Inside, a lightly brushed fleece pile insulates in cool to cold conditions and wicks moisture during aerobic activities. Thermoformed knuckles, leather palm and Kevlar stitching round out the features.

Adjustable, droppable leg loops allow for extra layers and quick exit/entry. Four molded gear loops and a full strength haul loop provide ample space for large racks.

- Without question, these are the easiest and fastest placing ice screws to ever sink their way into ice. Black Diamond have improved thier renowned Express by redesigning the tooth geometry for easier starts, adding larger crank knobs that are easier to grab and augmenting the hanger with a second clip-in point for belay organization. Quick to bite and easy to crank in, the Express screw features a tapered tube where the teeth cut a hole just larger than the tube itself, for less friction and faster placements. The foldable speed-drive knob is colour-coded for quick length identification and offers uninterrupted 360-degree motion. New stainless steel hangers are lighter than previous models, won’t rust and reduce melt-out on sunny routes. The Express is built in five lengths to accommodate a variety of ice conditions.
