The Genesis jacket by Marmot uses Marmot's own M1 softshell, which offers great breathability, wind resistance, water resistance, freedom of movement with it's great stretch qualities, and durability. The seams have been welded together instead of stitched to ensure that water can not penetrate the seams, and to give greater strength and flexibility.
