The Mont Blanc has the perfect combination of modern materials, like Gore's new Gore-Tex (Insulated Comfort Footwear), and classic appearance of HS12 impregnated 3mm suede for weather protection and insulation. And uses a new concept in construction; the Scarpa Ergo Fit System which allows maximum ankle mobility (only in the right directions) for climbing sensitivity, and also giving the support necessary for travelling on steep terrain. The new Total Traction sole unit allows enough flex for long approaches to be completed comfortably but, thanks to the Pro Fibre insole, stiff enough for Crampomatic crampons for climbing.

The Cornice Long has a Gore-Tex waterproofing system, and the hood as a wire peak that can be easily adjusted, and rolled away if preferred. The IA system (Inter Active system) allows Berghaus fleeces to be zipped into the shell to create a warm winter jacket, but for warmer weather the shell can be worn independently.

- The Trail 2L Pant by Berghaus is a 2 Layer GORE-TEX Performance Shell trouser with 3/4 length two way zips facilitating upper leg ventilation. They have an elastic draw-cord to prevent them riding up or falling down as well as articulated knees for maximum comfort and movement while on the move. Gore-Tex integrated lining within the Trail 2L Pant keeps the weather out and allows them to breathe at the same time thus keeping you moisture free whatever the weather.
