- The Kayland Apex Trek boots is a four season, mid to high altitude trekking and winter walking boot. EVent technology has been used for waterproofing and for maintaining breathability. The Apex Trek is B1/B2 rated, and is best suited for a crampon with a flexible linking bar. Great for multi-day backpacking on mixed terrain at medium altitudes where crampons may be needed.

The fit of this Manta has been improved with more trials and tests to perfect the last, and the new pro-fibre mid sole gives slightly more flex, but still offers enough rigidity for crampon use.
