- Self-braking descender for single rope. The rate of descent is controlled by varying the grip on the free end of the rope, and a self-braking system operates when the handle is released fully. it is possible to use the Stop for rope climbing without changing the position of the STOP, by adding a foot loop and a handled rope clamp/grab .

- Petzl Charlet Scorpio Vertigo WL Lanyard
- The Scorpio Vertigo WL Lanyard is a great via ferrata tool, ideal for an enjoyable and safe day on the cliffs. The retractable lanyard arms are stored in a zippered pouch which helps keep them out of the way. To protect you in the event of a fall the lanyard uses a tearing energy absorber, this is easy to inspect for signs of wear. The third arm is great when traversing or when you need to rest by clipping directly to a rung. The Scorpio Vertigo uses Petzl's Vertigo carabiners which are specially designed for Via Ferrata use.
