With a minimum weight of just 860g the Laser Competition is sure to be a favourite for Adventure Races, Mountain Marathons and Ultra Light Backpacking. New 8.55mm DAC Featherlite poles save approximately 10% on last years poles and when used with the complementary waterproof hood the tent is guaranteed waterproof.
Exceptional comfort for 1 person yet there is space for 2 (if you're good friends). The Laser Competition pitches flysheet first and the inner can be left connected, so it is exceptional quick to erect. The transverse porch creates more usable space than a longitudinal porch and provides excellent shelter from the wind as well as a large entrance.

Superlite Quasar Tent

The success of their Superlite Voyager has spurred Terra Nova to create superlite versions of their most successful models. These should be firm favourites with those who value the benefits of a geodesic structure yet want to keep weight to a minimum.
The Superlite Quasar uses the same dimensions as the standard Quasar, but uses the same fabrics as our Laser range. The double silicon flysheet is increadably lightweight but retains excellent durability and waterproofing. Add the proven strength of the Quasar geodesic construction and the Superlite Quasar becomes an excellent choice for all but the most committed of lightweight backpackers.
At 1.25Kg per person, the Superlite Quasar gives strength and durability at half the weight of a standard Quasar.

Gore-Tex FLO2 fabric allows gas transfer as well as moisture transfer, creating a more comfortable sleeping environment. The horizontal zip features a rain flap and a generous hood to allow easy manoeuvring and space for storing gear. The Waterbloc groundsheet is the same as that used on our Endurance tent range and provides excellent durability and waterproofing in harsh environments.
Great for occasional use in hill and mountain environments with out the cost of a full Gore-Tex bag.

Bothy bags are increasingly used by mountain rescue teams, outdoor centres and youth groups as emergency shelters and should be always be in the bottom of your rucksack.
