The sole is sturdy, but still gives plenty of flex for general use. Memory foam placed around the back of the foot and around the ankle, ensures that you always get the best fit possible from your boot.

The Manta is perfectly suited for 4 season walking, UK winter climbs, 'easier' alpine climbs, and glacier walking/trekking. The Manta will take a full step in crampon (B2 recommended) . The fit of this Manta has been improved with more trials and tests to perfect the last, and the new pro-fibre mid sole gives slightly more flex, but still offers enough rigidity for crampon use.
