All Degree EXP Boots
-
Mountaineering boots are used in extreme conditions, often with a very heavy pack. Combined tours in rock and ice demand the utmost of both the person and the gear (crampon compatible). It is important that the boot is as light as possible, sits close to the foot, and that its performance can be trusted, as well as providing a maximum of comfort and a perfect fit. The All-degree Exp from Raichle is designed for Mountaineering and climbing in harsh environments and colder climates. The outer gaiter combines Scholler and Keprotec outer fabrics for protection, durability and breathability with a Thinsulate insulation for protection from the cold.

Mountain Envy GTX Boots
(m)
-
The Raichle Mountain Envy is a modern styled lightweight mountain boot designed to cope with lots of varied terrain and conditions. It has moved away from the traditional design and style of a “trekking boot” to produce something suited to the more serious or aspirational end user, yet still remains versatile enough to be a year round boot for the go everywhere person!
The sole unit is lower profile than the Raichle standard mountain tread; it also uses a different compound of vibram rubber with a smooth toe area to give precision and confidence on more technical scrambles or easy climbs. Shock absorbing comes from a dual construction of PU and EVA to give a comfortable cushioning throughout your stride, with durability and weight optimized.
The midsole stiffening plate is contoured and curved to give comfort whilst walking on level terrain, yet is stiff enough to be utilized with C1 crampons and give support whilst edging on rock. The upper has the motion control concept built in to increase support to the foot through the arch and heel area, and also to increase upper lateral stiffness for the ankle when on unstable ground. ¾ length heavy rubber rand protects the upper from scree and rock, a combination of nubuck leather and heavy weave textile are used to balance weight, support and durability of the upper, lined with gore-tex to help keep the foot comfortable and dry.
Fit is optimized through the use of Memo foam in the ankle and tongue area, combined with a lacing system that reduces pressure on the top of the foot and provides good friction through wide eyelets (ghilly system) to optimize stabilizing the foot inside the boot.
This boot is aimed at the user who likes to take a more challenging line to the summit, enjoys scrambling and via ferrata, uses a crampon to cross glaciers/snow slopes or for UK winter hill walking.
