Location

Located in the heart of Glasgow's premier shopping area, Tiso Buchanan Street has been serving Glasgow's outdoor needs since 1984. With an extensive range of clothing and equipment over five floors, we are the largest outdoor store in the city centre boasting 7,000Sq feet spread over five floors.

We are within easy reach of both Central and Queen Street railway stations, and less than 15 minutes walk from Buchanan Bus station.

 

Store

Our lower ground floor carries a wide selection of walking shoes and sandals, travel accessories and luggage. We have just put the finishing touches to our new festival camping area which caters for all ages of festival goer. Our Customer services desk is also located here, where we can arrange repairs for boots, tents, rucsacs and clothing.

The ground floor showcases our collection of women's and children's clothing. For this spring and summer, we are featuring outdoor wear from brands including Rab, Mountain Equipment, and Haglofs. Travel wear from Patagonia, Royal Robbins and Icebreaker can also be found here. The children's area at the rear of the floor has new spring stock of The North Face and Jack Wolfskin, in addition to good value waterproofs from Sprayway and Togz.

On the first floor you can find the men's clothing department. Whether you're walking the dog, scrambling in Skye, or climbing Mont Blanc, we can kit you out.

The second floor has the best selection of hillwalking boots in the city centre, staffed by a team who will take the time to ensure you get the best possible fit. Climbing equipment, camping gear, backpacks, and all manner of outdoor gadgetry are also located here. Don't know where you're going? No problem - maps, compasses and GPS receivers are for sale here – advice on how to use them, however, is free!

If camping is your passion we have the facility to pitch any of our tents in our dedicated tent showroom, around the corner and upstairs from the bootroom.

Pushed for time between transport connections? Drop us an email, and we can have what you need waiting for you – particularly handy if you've arrived by air, and need to pick up some fuel.

Staff

As outdoor enthusiasts our staff can personally recommend clothing and equipment that we use ourselves – we know what works and what doesn't. You won't find the hard sell here – our job is to give you the best possible advice on the kit that is right for you.
