The square profile of the High Roller has been proven at World Cup level, with the ramped knobs providing plenty of penetratin and traction on the most demanding tracks. The square edges allow the High Roller to work well as a rear tyre, with well-supported and shaped shoulder knobs providing grip in corners. Excellent performance under braking makes the High Roller a solid performer for all-round trail riding.
The Exo sidewalls are beefed up to offer better protection from rock strikes, as well as better supporting the tyre in hard cornering. As with most MTB tyres, the Minion is tubeless ready and should be used this way to get top performance.
3C Maxx Terra refers to the High Roller's rubber compound which uses three different rubbers to balance grip and durability. On the inner-most layer is a harder rubber which provides a stable base and help prolong the life of the tyre. Above in the centre is a softer rubber for grip and traction when you need it most. On the shoulders is an even softer compound for providing maximum grip when in the corners.
The High Roller has been one of the stand-out MTB tyres of all time, offering predicatable grip in a variety of conditions. Pair with a Maxxis Minion on the front for the ultimate combo.
