The new midweight Capacitor Hoody from Rab, crafted of 100% recycled brushed fleece, is the perfect midlayer for all your activities in the mountains. Designed as a modern take on the classic 200-weight fleece, it provides warmth whilst also allowing flexibility and breathability through its Thermic™ stretch panels, which can be found in the hood, sleeves and sides of the jacket.
Featuring a full-length zip with a helmet-compatible hood, 2 YKK® zipped hand pockets and a secure chest pocket, the Capacitor Hoody can either be worn as a standalone piece or a winter midlayer. So whether you are hitting the mountains for a climb or hiking on the trails, this is the midlayer for you.

By recycling fabrics, we are not only stopping extra waste heading to landfill but also reducing the need for virgin fabrics to be created. Recycled fabrics can be anything from recycled polyester to recycled cotton and where recycled cotton is used, it's often offcuts from factory floors that would otherwise end up in landfill.

This brand partners with the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). The Fair Wear Foundation is a clothing industry specific, non-profit organization that ensures sustainable, fair and safe labour conditions in factories. They work directly with brands, factories, trade unions, NGOs and governments to establish a living wage and a working environment that’s free from gender-based violence, discrimination and harassment. There is emphasis on a brand’s business practices and how this can make direct sustainable change, alongside factory audits and worker interviews.

How to Measure
Chest: measure around the fullest part of the chest with your arms down. Usually just under the pits.
Waist: measure around the narrowest part of the waist. Your waist is at the small of your back or where your body bends if you lean to the side.
Arm length: measure from the side of your neck to wrist fold, over the top of your arm.
Fit Descriptions
Slim: a streamlined silhouette. Cut trim following the contours of the body. Expertly placed articulation of seams and the use of stretch fabric ensure maximum freedom of movement in these close-fitting terms.
Regular: neither slim nor loose. Regular fit items are the perfect balance of form fit and ease of movement.
Relaxed: a more generous fit. Cut loosely through the body allowing for ease of movement and additional layering.
Expedition: designed specifically to accommodate the layering system and equipment required for high altitude and polar expeditions.
