If you're after a lightweight shell that'll keep the wind and water out but won't bulk up your kit, then Rab's Kinetic Alpine 2.0 is for you.
Rab have designed this to fit close to your body so there's not as much room to fit an insulating jacket underneath, but a thin fleece would suit it just fine. The Stretch Nylon Woven Proflex™ panels in the hip, arm, shoulders and hood are specifically designed to keep you moving on the mountain, whether you're climbing or hiking. It uses recycled Stretch Knit Proflex™ fabric with a breathable waterproof membrane and a fast-wicking backer to shift moisture away from you to keep you dry from the inside out as well as the 10,000mm hydrostatic head rating keeping you dry from the elements.
An inner zipper pocket, velcro cuffs, helmet compatible hood and adjustable hem are all high quality finishes you expect from Rab. The Kinetic Alpine 2.0 will become a standard piece of kit for your spring and summer adventures.

Carbon Neutral or Climate Neutral brands have been third party verified as reducing their carbon footprint, often balancing their remaining emissions with carbon credits to support projects that are combating the climate emergency.
By recycling fabrics, we are not only stopping extra waste heading to landfill but also reducing the need for virgin fabrics to be created. Recycled fabrics can be anything from recycled polyester to recycled cotton and where recycled cotton is used, it's often offcuts from factory floors that would otherwise end up in landfill.
