Everything about the Boone 6 is engineered for speed on the cyclocross race course. You'll find no rack and mudguard mounts on this bike. All non-essentials have been stripped to save weight and complexity. The frame is made from Trek's OCLV 600 series carbon fibre with an IsoSpeed seatube decoupler for better seated pedalling comfort and taking the sting out of rapid remounts. Cam-tail aerodynamic tube shapes and quick handling geometry make the Boone faster on every part of the course, whether you're sprinting along a smooth straight or navigating steep rutted corners. Near-invisible internal routing conceals shift and brake cables in the headtube so there's no risk of catching them on obstacles or when shouldering the bike.

A simple but highly effective 1x11 drivetrain is supplied by Shimano. The top-spec GRX 800 groupset comes with a clutch-equipped derailleur and narrow-wide front ring for excellent chain retention, while the 11-34 cassette is great for fast and efficient pedalling. Hydraulic disc brakes will not leave you wanting for stopping power either. With reliable performance in the wet and dry, they'll keep your speed in check on technical descents and high-speed corners alike. The Bontrager Paradigm wheels have a 25mm inner width for added sidewall support and extra volume in the 32mm CX3 Team Issue tyres. Both rims and tyres are tubeless compatible, so if you want to maximise performance then you can ditch the tubes in favour of valves, sealant and tape There is room for 38mm rubber or, in other words, absolutely masses of mud clearance so you'll never be slowed down by clogging.
