Bigger battery, bigger possibilities.
Bosch's powerful new Performance CX drive unit and a long-lasting 625Wh PowerTube battery integrate cleanly into Moterra's burly carbon frame. The Ai Offset Drivetrain opens up the rear triangle for more tyre clearance while keeping the chainstays short for nimble agility. The handling is like no other. Add in the 160mm front and rear suspensions and your ride will feel super smooth.
Riders come in all sizes. Proportional Response is the only design that addresses this fact, tailoring the suspension layout by size so that every rider gets optimal traction, suppleness and control. Utilising size-specific centre-of-gravity data, the suspension linkage is tailored by size.
The Moterra Neo not only gives you the power to get around, it also gives you impressive braking with 220mm Centerline rotors. But what does this mean? Disc brake rotors come in a variety of sizes ranging from 140mm upwards. If your bike is particularly heavy (like with the extra battery weight in an electric bike) or the more aggressive braking you wish to be executing, then you should be looking for a larger rotor. Cannondale have not let you down in this regard, and you won't ever need to worry about stopping with the incredible 220mm rotors on the Neo 3+.
The Moterra Neo 3+ comes with 29" wheels which, while accelerating slower than 27.5", will maintain speed better and give you better traction. Add in the extra power that an electric bike gives you (and the 624Wh compared to the more usual 500 Wh), the Moterra Neo 3+ has the potential to be a fast, stable and smooth bike on the trails or cross country rides and take you further than you thought was possible.
