Cannondale Jekyll 2 - 2022 - Graphite

The new Jekyll is based around an innovative rear suspension to give you outstanding performance with proportional response, size specific design. The susoension is centred around four parts:

• Gravity cavity
• High pivot
• Guidler
• Four Bar Linkage

The gravity cavity puts the shock inside the downtube for the lowest possible centre of gravity for exceptional handling at speed. The high pivot allows the wheel to move backwards and up over trail obstacles so you don't lose any backend grip and power when you need it most. To balance off the pedal kick back you can get with high pivots, Cannondale have designed the 'guidler' - part chain guide, part idler pulley. It kills all kickback to keep incredible smoothness and your forward momentum. The four bar linkage controls squat and rise for efficiency under heavy breaking and accelerating so there's no distractions during key moments in your enduro race. Finally, the proportional response size specific design tailors every aspect of the bike to the average centre of gravity for different sized riders. And this is everything - geometry, chain stay length, rider position and suspension layout. 

But you don't just get a great working suspension without high end spec. The Jekyll is built around a lightweight carbon frame, RockShox Zeb Select 170mm forks and Shimano Deore drive train. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer stopping power to match the speed you'll create with the 29" wheels.
