The Trail Neo is the bike you need if you're wanting to get started on light trails or fire gravel roads and make those ups and downs easier, even on your commute.

The 500Wh battery and the Bosch drive unit are positioned as low and centrally as possible to keep the centre of gravity as low to add extra stability and improve your confidence. 

Speaking of the Bosch motor, the Bosch Performance Line Cruise is perfect to both the urban adventure and rural trails. With 65Nm of torque, it's powerful, silent and lightweight. Along with the motor, the Trail Neo has an 11-36 9 speed cassette to keep you going up those hills, even if the battery is low. Cannondale say that you'll get up to 112km out of a single charge of the battery, though this will depend on terrain, speed and other factors. Luckily, there is dual battery compatibility: The Trail Neo frame comes pre-wired and ready for the installation of a second battery for longer rides and bigger adventures. The 29" wheels are robust and fast rolling, making sure that all this power is sent into getting you further.

WIth all this forward power, you'll need reliable stopping power. Thankfully, the Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors give you just that, keeping you safe in the knowledge that no matter the weather or terrain, you'll stop when you want to!

If you're keen to use the Trail Neo around town, it comes compatible with everything you could want. Pre-wired light cables allow you to easily afix lights for street safety, mounts for racks and mudguards, and a sleek, hidden mount to add a kickstand.
