About the 805:
Whyte are pioneers of the long and slack geometry that has spread throughout the biking world, and added to their British heritage and love of the hardcore hardtail mean the 805 is one of the most capable hardtails you'll find anywhere.
Geomtery is the very core of how a bike handles, and with a long top tube, short stem and wide bar, the 805 is bang on the money, providing stability at speed with quick and easy direction changes when required. The aluminium frame is light and tned to provide a forgiving ride, yet transfer power efficiently to the rear wheel. Designed for a single front chainrings means the frame has more mud clearance but also more compliance than typical hardtails. All this tech really comes together on the trail to make a sweet handling trail bike that responds beautifully to your inputs.
The 120mm fork soaks up obstacles with minimal fuss while the 27.5" wheels and chunky tyres provide the grip. A 1x10 speed drivetrain is simple and rugged and works so well you'll barely notice it.
Taken as a whole, the 805 is an incredible all round trail bike at a superb price. Quality British engineering, forward thinking design, incredible handling and excellent reliability.
