About The Cube Touring:
Cube's Touring bike is a real workhorse ready for everything from daily commutng to leisure riding to round-the-world tours.
The foundation of the touring is a lightweight and super-strong aluminium frame with suspension fork. The frame is designed to offer strength on rough roads and tracks, as well as being kitted out to accept all essential accessories like mudguards, racks, etc. The fit is one based around comfort, so whether you ride for 10 miles or 100, you can ride without feeling too stretched out yet still find good pedalling efficiency. Added to this is an adjustable stem to fine tune the fit to suit you perfectly. The suspension fork offer 63mm of travel which is plenty to soak up the bumps of rough roads and even some dirt tracks. Altogether, it's a great chassis designed for long life and ultimate comfort.
The basics of the Touring are taken care of with a wide ranging Shimano groupset. The triple chainset and 8 speed derailleur offers 24 widely-spaced gear ratios to tackle the steepest of inclines and still get up a good head of steam on flat roads. Shifting is slick and the components are chosen for reliability. Plus, with the built-in changuard, it keeps you and your trousers clean when used for commuting or nipping around town. Super strong 36 spoke wheels (the standard for heavy-duty touring) keep spinning smoothly and provide great peace of mind on rough roads. With the grippy mixed-tread tyres, you get grip when you need it combined with low rolling resistance so you can rack up the miles.
Unlike most bikes, the Touring comes kitted out with all the accessories you could need for daily riding. Full length mudguards, pannier rack, front & rear lights, kickstand and even a front dynamo hub to power the lights mean you're covered for all weathers and every eventuality. Whether you want to ride out on the odd Sunday, commute to work or pack up for a long tour, the Touring offers great value and top performance.
