Spending the Night in Scotland's Most Haunted Bothy with Guy Grieve...
Watch along as Guy Grieve stays the night in the most remote, most HAUNTED bothy in Scotland!
A renowned writer and outdoorsman, Guy Grieve continues on his adventures into Scotland’s Haunted Wilderness, this time stopping at Ben Alder Cottage. Reputed to be the most haunted bothy in Scotland, located on the shore of Loch Ericht in the Central Highlands and almost 14km away from the nearest road, this remote bothy has stirred up unsettling stories and secrets since it was built back in 1871.
With no signal, no running water and no electricity, Guy stays a night in the place surrounded by mesmerising views of rolling landscapes untouched by human influence – admiring an ambience inspired by the strong smell of burning firewood throughout the building, ominous ghost stories and cryptic messages and poems left in the visitors’ book by previous weary travellers.
What did Guy experience during his night in the haunted bothy? And, would you venture out on the 14km hike to experience it for yourself?
