The art of navigation is knowing where you are, know where you’re going and know how to get there safely. Micro navigation techniques will help you get this right and stay on track throughout your journey on the mountain. Knowing which techniques to use and when is essential for successful navigation. The techniques coached will help you to stay out of danger when the weather turns worse and when visibility becomes challenging.
The course will build a skill base of robust mountain navigation skills which you can use on any terrain in summer conditions.
This course is great fun too and will include advice on route planning and navigation equipment such as the use of GPS in mountain navigation. With so much packed in to a short course it represent fantastic value.
