A B2 rated mountaineering boot, the Orles Edge Mid GTX provides a tough, versatile technical solution for alpinists looking for a boot that facilitates precise and supportive footwork. Providing the optimum balance of weight, durability and comfort, innovative materials and technologies make this product the perfect versatile mountaineering boot. Crafted with a hard-wearing, high-tensile Schoeller® nylon upper, the Orles Edge is reinforced with a rubber rand and TPU inserts for additional rock and scree protection. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining provides durable and breathable weatherproofing for when you find yourself facing changing conditions, including snow and heavy rain. Furthermore, the Orles is equipped with a high-performance Pomoca™ Alpine Dynamic outsole to guarantee a secure grip and traction on rock, snow and ice in addition to good crampon compatibility. This is a boot that is highly customizable to the wearer, featuring an MFF+ footbed with interchangeable layers that gives you the option of fine-tuing the volume of your boot. Whatsmore, on big mountain days with long descents, localized shock absorption zones reduce stress on the knees and ankles and a thermoformed material heel cuff offers extra ankle lateral-support, especially on downhill sections.
