About The Turbo Levo SL:
When you think of electric mountain bikes, you think of big, heavy, powerful juggernauts. The Levo SL takes a different path: this is a lightweight whippet for riders who just want to ride more.
Unlike the regular Levo, the SL uses a lighter chassis and smaller battery pack to create a bike weighing far less. The slim downtube houses a 320WH battery and you get a custom 240W motor in the bottom bracket providing up to 5 hours riding time. The lack of weight and bulk allows the SL to handle much more like a regular trail bike (like the Stumpjumper upon which the Levo is based) so you can jump, flick, turn and shred with ease, rather than barrelling through.
And unlike a regular e-MTB, you still have to work for it. The assistance provided will help you ride considerably further and faster, but it requires your effort too. This isn't an armchair ride, and it isn't so powerful you'll barely feel the effort. It's a gentle and natural amplification, and a means of riding more trails and extending your own range.
The SL Comp's build is backed up with a great range of components to make the most of the powerful chassis and confident geometry. Based on the Stumpjumper, the angles are dialled for an efficient climbing position and fast descending. Fox suspension, SRAM drivetrain & brakes, a reliable dropper and chunky 29" tyres come together to give you grip, traction, reliability and easy maintenance. Ride, rinse, charge, repeat.
The Levo SL is for every rider. It isn't about making things easy, and it isn't about removing the challenge from the trails. It's about allowing you to ride further, to ride faster, to have more fun. Simply, it's an e-bike built by riders, for riders.
