We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Multi Channel to join our team heading up the function of a fast paced and growing department. This role will be based in our Edinburgh Head Office but will also involve working out of our Glasgow site each week as this is where the dispatch function and team are based.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a multi-channel business strategy and manage its implementation and execution collaborating with all relevant stakeholders and teams.
  • Create and implement seasonal MC trading plans to deliver budgeted levels of online and retail footfall, sales, conversion and profit.
  • Ensure measurable commercial objectives with financial targets are set with performance regularly reviewed and reported at weekly trade meetings.
  • Agree deliverables and KPI's seasonally and annually with CEO, reviewing performance against budget in terms of sales, costs and profit at regular Executive review meetings.
  • Work closely with other business functions to ensure strategy and proposition is consistent and commercial opportunities are optimised.
  • Maintain and develop the site to ensure continuous improvements to visitor numbers, basket values, conversion, etc. This to include all elements of the experience including search, navigation, photography, copy, online merchandising, mobile, kiosks etc.
  • Identify and act on opportunities for improvement or advancement in: front and back end architecture, usability, data quality, SEO, existing and emerging digital channels, third party relationships, etc. This to meet current and future business needs taking full account of market trends, advances in technology and consumer behaviour.
  • Identify and employ the best and most effective means available to improve customer acquisition leading to improved conversion. Develop an acquisition model that considers and justifies the cost acquisition in the context of the contribution per order and the expected life time value of the customer.
  • Work towards any stock units in any location being delivered to UK customers within 24 hours.
  • Establish reporting disciplines to update on project progress.
  • Work closely with retail and marketing to maximise opportunities to convert store only customers to MC. Identify opportunities to enhance in store MC profile and experience.
  • Identify and employ the best and most effective means available to maximise MC customer retention. Introduce segmented customer lifecycle marketing, life time value modelling and appropriate reactivation campaigns where necessary.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate risks to MC performance to avoid or minimise risks to service, sales, profit, and reputation.
  • Develop 'click & collect' function with retail as a service function.
  • Develop a customer insight program to generate increased revenue from existing customers, and business intelligence to help increase the customer base.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience of working in a demanding ecommerce department
  • Strong technical development skills and understanding
  • Experience of leading and delivering a multi-channel service in a retail environment

We are looking to recruit an individual who has previous retail or customer facing experience, is passionate about the delivery of excellent customer service and participates regularly in outdoor activities to work in our Glasgow Outdoor Experience store on a part time basis.

Please note that this role will involve working at weekends so you must be fully flexible and able to commit to this.

We are looking for an organised, methodical and motivated individual to join the Graham Tiso team in our Edinburgh Head Office as a Buying & Merchandising Administration Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive candidate to gain invaluable hands on experience in a fast moving, demanding retail environment.

In this role, you’ll work under the direction of the Buyers for Graham Tiso. 

Your main responsibilities will be administration based and will encompass:

  • Data entry and maintenance
  • Creating Purchase Orders
  • Store stock management
  • Communicating with Suppliers/Stores
  • Dealing with Invoices
  • General administrative duties

The key requirements for this role are:

  • Must be highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills including strong written English
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to meet agreed deadlines and timescales.

Having an interest in the outdoors would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
