The Black Diamond Viper Ice Hammer is an exceptional tool for winter climbing, built to be durable and easy to use. It delivers all-around performance, the hydroformed shaft extends through the grip, providing maximum rigidity and a responsive feel, while the Natural Pick adds to the tool's durability on rough mountain terrains. 

The FlickLock® pommel of the Viper is adjustable and functions as a secondary grip position, making it perfect for ice climbing and dragging. Additionally, it can be easily slid up the shaft to choke up on low-angle snow slopes. The modular head of the tool allows for quick and easy changing of picks and swapping between a hammer and an adze.
