Garmin Inreach satellite subscriptions

What satellite communications packages are needed for the Inreach to operate fully, what options, what costs. Can I subscribe for just a month or two for a particular adventure.

Garmin offer a range of both 30 day and 12 month inReach subscription plans that vary both in terms of the functionality they offer and price. The most basic package on offer, the Consumer Safety package, costs £14.99 per month on a 30 day plan / £12.49 per month on a 12 month plan. Meanwhile, the most comprehensive package, the Consumer Expedition package, costs £64.99 per month on a 30 days plan / £49.99 per month on a 12 month plan. does all you need on the hills

Perfect gadget for those looking for additional peace of mind hiking solo on the hills. I would advise to read and test all features on known places before heading out. Does all it says it do.
