Our recent partnership with ClimbScotland, as part of our ongoing work with Mountaineering Scotland is the next step in our continued support.

With some of the most stunning landscapes and fantastic access laws, Scotland is a great place to explore. A unique and special place for mountain adventures at any level, from the weekend hillwalkers to experienced climbers. Whether you need to brush up on some skills for the hills, or you're looking for a group of like minded people to head on a climbing trip with, Mountaineering Scotland have the advice and support you need. While also campaigning for the protection of natural landscapes and working closely with other organisations to maintain hill routes and safeguard access.

ClimbScotland is Scotland's national governing body for sport climbing, and for many years, have recognised the potential that climbing can bring to young people. Running competitions and events throughout the year and aiming to increase participation in climbing. ClimbScotland aim to develop the sport across the country with a team who can offer advice and resources to those who require support to allow the sport to grow.

From guidance on how to start a new climbing club, to delivering coaching to leaders and kids, ClimbScotland offer a wide range of activities to get you involved in the sport. With over 13,000 members across the country and over 140 clubs to choose from, you're bound to find a way into climbing at any experience level.

Tiso are pleased to announce their partnership with ClimbScotland, which will see support in the form of new prizes for youth climbing competitions, and the creation of a new young climbers starter kit. Members of ClimbScotland and Mountaineering Scotland will also be able to claim a FREE Outdoor Experience card worth £20, which entitles the holder to 10% discount in our stores and online. Tiso will also be supporting the younger climbers with a free Tiso Young Adventurer's card for climbers and their group leaders, granting them extra discounts on essential climbing gear.

Along with our excellent discounts, we'll be hoping to inspire more of our customers into climbing, by hosting exclusive mountain safety lectures in our stores nationwide.  Our excellent in store staff have extensive experience in both the climbing and outdoor sports arenas.
