From concept to rider, Fox has been secretly developing and testing FLEXAIR for the past 3 years. Intially tested in 2012 by the Fox sponsored Geico Honda 250 MX team of Justin Barcia, Trey Canard, and Eli Tomac.
Protype testing kicked off at the 2014 New Jersey Supercross and continued with ken Roczen and Ryan Dungey wearing them during their respective championships. Testing for MTB begain in early 2015 with Josh Bryceland while preparing for the Downhill season and continues with Josh, Steve Smith, Mark Wallace and Dean Lucas all wearing FLEXAIR during the 2015 UCI World Cup of Downhill season.
The results were exactly what you would expect from Fox - podium proven, athelete endorsed product that changes the definition of what DH gear can be.
