Hard, stiff leather, slippery soles

Very stiff leather which has not softened with wear. waterproofing did not last. I have had to proof them too often. The soles are very slippy on wet rock so they are no good for Scottish hills

Poor rate of wear

Owned 2 years. Moderate use but soles need replaced. Cracks in leather and waterproofing lost early despite following care instructions closely and use of recommended care product. Expect better.
