Running Packs, Vests & Hydration
Running Vests
There are some must-haves you just can’t go on a run without, and with that, you need somewhere to store them. We offer a range of Running Vests that are designed specifically for running where you prefer a lightweight, “barely there” feel. Vest packs will fit close to your back and shoulders to minimise movement as you run and often offer front pockets to give easy access to kit from water to keep you hydrated and bars or gels for nutrition, to your mobile phone or bank cards. These running vests are very light and often crafted with mesh to make sure they are highly breathable – though storage is limited. If you think you need more room for your kit, you might want to size up to a running pack!
Running Packs
Running packs come in different sizes depending on where you are and how much kit you think you’ll need. Short training runs, quick morning jogs before work or competitions where speed and levity are a must will mean you want a smaller pack, perhaps between 2-5L. For longer distances, trails runs in more hazardous terrain or stints where you might need to stay one step ahead of the weather may call for larger volume bags (5-12L+), so you can fit extra layers, a jacket or larger water reservoirs to ensure you’ve got enough water for the trip.
These running packs will boast many useful features to ensure you’ve got everything you need on your run such as an array of pockets and compartments so your kit is quick and easy to find on the go, hydration compatible sleeves to store water bladders or soft flasks, mesh panelling to keep the air flowing between your bag and your back, and even straps throughout the bag to compress your kit with, limiting movement of the contents, stabilising bounce and keeping everything secure and tucked in tight.
Hydration Systems
One thing you’ll never want to set off on a run without is water. Keeping yourself hydrated is essential to ensuring your body is geared up, energised and healthy for your run, so hydration systems are important to consider before you venture out on the tarmac, gravel or rocky mountain paths. Soft flasks often come in the shape of water bottles and are great for when you want to keep storage space to a minimum – they fit securely into pockets, are easy to access and drink from on the go and even shrink the more water you take on! Many running packs will come with hydration compatible sleeves that are designed to store your hydration bladder or reservoir and the hose that reaches round not only keeps water readily available, but also makes sure it’s hassle and hands free!
Don’t leave home for the run without your must-haves thanks to our range of Running Packs, Vests & Hydration Systems at Tiso.
