If you want to escape to the outdoors for a few days on foot, by bike or in a canoe but don’t have the right gear, Tiso has the perfect solution. With our wide range of hire equipment you can try your hand at a new sport without having to buy the kit first.
We offer a selection of kit to cover all your needs whether it’s a walk in the hills or paddling along the coast. You can choose from one of our packages or just the individual piece of equipment you need. This page outlines all our hire equipment and the shops where it is available.

HIRE PERIODS EXPLAINED
- Day hire: pick up at 10am on the day of hire and return by 5pm
- 3 day hire: a 3 day hire, for example: Friday morning to Sunday afternoon
- 7 day hire: 7 days but hire periods are negotiable
TRY BEFORE YOU BUY
Hire charge will be refunded if you purchase a boat within 30 days of hire. Receipt for hire must be shown. Maximum of 3 day hire will be refunded against boat purchase.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment for hire equipment must be made at time of booking. In order to pick up hire equipment we require photo ID as proof of identity. A credit card must be used as security against the full value of the hire equipment. All hire equipment is subject to availability.
CANCELLATIONS
Should a client cancel 14 days or more before the hire date a full refund will be offered and the option of a rescheduled date will be given. Should a client cancel within 14 days, we reserve the right to offer no refund of the hire fee and not to offer an alternative date.
