About Merrell hiking shoes

Merrell footwear began over 40 years ago in the United States when Randy Merrell, a highly skilled industrial shoemaker, began creating boots for hiking and the outdoors. After teaming up with former ski company executives Clark Matis and John Schweizer, Merrell went from strength to strength. The aim was to create affordable, high-performance hiking shoes and it is now a brand that almost all outdoor enthusiasts will have heard of.
