Polar Academy

Tiso are proud to be supporting the next generation of Polar Explorers through the Polar Academy. Brainchild of Craig Mathieson, an accomplished and respected explorer, after leading a number of arctic and antarctic expeditions including the first dedicated Scottish expedition to the South Pole. In 2013, Craig was awarded his 'Explorer in Residence' title from the Royal Scottish Geographical Society, and along with his team from Sport Scotland's Glenmore Lodge, they continue to unlock the huge potential within the young people selected for the Polar Academy. These young adults are turned into positive role models for their communities, and demonstrate that by inspiring through exploration, anyone can achieve something incredible.
