With over 50 years of experience in the outdoor gear industry, The North Face has become one of the most popular and trusted brands for outdoor clothing and equipment. The North Face was born out of a passion for hiking, as two hiking enthusiasts banded together in 1966 to create a small mountaineering retails store. In 1968 the small retail store moved location and began entering the world of designing and manufacturing its own outdoor clothing.
