Product Description
If you're heading on an expedition or wild camping trip and need a compact, lightweight, waterproof shelter, pick up an OEX Phoxx one person tent. As well as providing a robust structure, the pre-angled pole design also provides porch space on both sides of the tent to store wet kit. The breathable inner tent section can also be used on its own on warm days for a more comfortable place to rest.
With a hydrostatic head rating of 5000mm the Phoxx will keep the worst of the British weather at bay, whilst the inner is compact but has more than enough space for a good night's sleep.
The OEX Phoxx pitches inner first, with the outer flysheet then attaching to the inner. This makes the Phoxx more versatile than other tents as it can be pitched without the outer flysheet to camp under the stars. The Phoxx is one of our most popular 1-person tents, and for good reason.

This tent has an integrated "bath-tub" style groundsheet that forms the base of the inner tent. The flysheet is separate.

Dose the tent have a mosquitp proof inner

Is the inner part waterproof?

Great little tent
I bought this for my daughter as we're planning a bikepacking trip. Space is tight, but it feels robust, and it's light and compact enough to fit in a handlebar bag.
Stood up to the Heavy July rain really well
First use this little tent stood up to everything thrown at it,including a month's worth of rain in 24 hours, a couple of minor changes swop out the pegs for titanium pegs and clips instead of ties.
Very small inside, can't sit up.
Tiny! I can't sit inside (I'm just 5'3) which makes it impractical for changing clothes and do tick checks. Its more of a shelter/bivvy rather than a tent. It's very discrete in the wild, though.

Great little tent piched easy,nice and low to the ground,5000 H.H.will keep the rain out.I felt that a guy line or peg loop half way down outer tent would add to stability in high wind.

Had to shorten the rear pole myself
Stitching at the back of the inner was pulling apart. When I put the rear pole in, it pulled apart more. Shortened the pole myself with a hacksaw and a file. It otherwise seems fine.

This tent completely blown me away, in the price v quality stakes, easy to erect, relatively lightweight, especially if you replace the original pegs with titanium alloy or similar. Would recommend

Bought this after much research. I wanted an inexpensive, light weight and durable 1 person tent. Yet to use it (2 weeks time) but v easy to erect. The speed of delivery was exceptional! Brilliant.
Lightweight & compact
I've only put this tent up in the garden, not tested in wind & rain. It is lightweight, compact & easy to erect. The poles seem delicate but I hope they are stronger than they feel. Perfect for one.
