• Before washing, zip the front, pockets and pit zips completely.
• Fasten any loose flaps and straps.

• Machine wash (105°F/40°C).
• Use a small amount of liquid detergent.
• Rinse twice and minimize spinning.
• Don't use powder detergents, fabric softeners, stain removers, or bleach.
• Don't wash with heavily soiled clothing.

• Tumble dry on a warm gentle cycle or line dry your outerwear.
• Don't dry at a high temperature.

• Once dry, tumble dry for a further 20 minutes to reactivate the durable water repellent (DWR) treatment.
• If a dryer isn't available, iron the garment on a gentle setting.
• When ironing, protect the garment with a towel or cloth.
• Don't use steam.
• You can do this step any time you notice the water repellency needs a boost.

• If water doesn't bead and run off after washing, you'll need to reapply a durable water repellent (DWR).
• Use a DWR product of your choice, available as a pump-spray or a wash-in product.

• Following application, tumble dry your garment for 20 minutes to activate the DWR treatment.
• Or iron the dry garment on a gentle setting (warm, no steam) , placing a towel or cloth between the garment and the iron.
• Don't apply DWR to GORE-TEX Products with a persistent beading surface (e.g. GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ garments). See special care instructions below.

Washing GORE-TEX Garments with persistent beading surfaces (e.g. GORE-TEX SHAKEDRY™ garments) is slightly different as they have no textile outer layer - the outer layer is the GORE-TEX Membrane itself and there's no need for DWR.

• Machine wash on delicate cycle at 105°F/40°C.
• Do not dry clean.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not apply DWR treatment.

• Remove the laces, then shake out sand, gravel, and dirt from inside the footwear.
• If possible, remove and shake out the foot bed or insole.

• Brush off loose dirt with a sponge or brush.
• Then use lukewarm water with a small amount of liquid detergent.
• For leather shoes, check manufacturer's instructions.
• Don't use bleach.
• Don't wash in the washing machine.

• Dry naturally at moderate temperatures.
• Avoid direct heat.
• Don't let the footwear stay wet too long.
• Convection-style boot dryers work well.

• Once water no longer beads and runs off, re-apply a durable water repellent (DWR).
• Use a water-based restorative, available as a pump-spray.
• Don't use waterproofing waxes or greases, as they can affect your footwear's breathability.

If needed, scent-eliminating sprays, and cover scents can be used on GORE-TEX Scent Control Footwear. Used correctly, they will not affect the properties of the GORE-TEX membrane. Use unscented liquid detergent and wash as per regular GORE-TEX footwear. STAIN REMOVAL Whether it's mud, oil, or something more mysterious, follow the footwear manufacturer's instructions to remove stains. Only use recommended products. We don't recommend using stain removers - only liquid detergents.

• Shake out the glove to make sure there's no grit or dirt inside the main hand chamber and finger cavities.
• Hand wash in lukewarm water.
• Only use a small amount of liquid detergent
• Don't machine wash (machines can be too rough) or dry clean
• Don't use fabric softeners or bleach

• Gently squeeze water off, from the fingers to the wrist.
• Line dry. Position the gloves with the wrists pointing down.
• Shell gloves can be tumble dried on a low heat setting.
• When gloves are half dry, put them on and make a fist to restore their original shape.
• Don't place in the sun, or on a heater.
• Don't iron your gloves.

• When water no longer beads and runs off the gloves after washing and drying, you'll need to re-apply a durable water repellent (DWR).
• Use the pump spray DWR product of your choice.
• Use a water-based leather care product for leather gloves.

LEATHER CARE Do not place damp leather gloves on other garments: dyed leather can stain when it is wet. Do your best to protect gloves against damage from buckles, ski edges, and other sharp objects. STAIN REMOVAL Always follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Use a pre-wash treatment. Make sure you rinse the stain removal product off thoroughly before washing.
