Blundstone boots have made the move from Tasmanian farms and building sites to city streets, and the elastic-sided Chelsea boot is now one of the most recognisable boots in the world. Since founding in 1870 in Tasmania, where they are still based today, Blundstone have made the toughest, no-nonsense boots for work and play.

Blundstone Chelsea Boots by Model

Blundstone boots were founded in Hobart, Tasmania, in 1870 and are still based there today. Every pair of Blundstone shoes we stock is a pull-on Chelsea boot, split across two families: the Originals, with a snug fit and unlined leather, and the Classics, with a roomier fit and extra cushioning.

  • Blundstone #500: the Originals design that dates back to 1969. A single piece of unlined, water-resistant stout brown leather softens and shapes to your foot with wear. Choose it as an everyday boot for town, weekends and workwear.
  • Blundstone #585: part of the Classics series, in rustic brown waxed nubuck with a leather and textile lining. A relaxed, wider fit and a Poron XRD® cushioned footbed make it the pick for long days on your feet or a wider foot.
  • Blundstone #519: the men's Originals boot in stout brown leather with olive green elastic sides. The same snug fit and unlined build as the #500, with a contrast detail that sets it apart.
