The Edelrid Nano Jul is a lightweight belay device specifically designed for alpine tours using thin double and twin ropes. The construction of the Nano Jul is engineered to provide sufficient braking force even with extremely thin climbing ropes. In 'Guide mode,' as a guide, you can secure and lower two followers. You can also block one follower while allowing the other follower to continue climbing.
