The Air Tech line of crampons from Grivel are designed for ascents of both rock and ice. With the new EVO upgrade Grivel aren't reinventing the wheel, but they've fine tuned the back clip to be a one-piece solution which is lighter, stronger, and easier to adjust.
Grivel have also improved the webbing to be harder wearing, thinner (at 12mm), and with a more ergonomic buckle. The webbing strap at last fastens in toward the boot, with the loose end neatly wrapping around the front of the ankle to be tucked into a purpose built slot within the back bail.
Because of these upgrades, there's a 54g weight saving. Light, strong and more user friendly. What more could you ask for?
