Upgraded with a lightweight HMF carbon frame, the Addict 30 strikes up a symbiotic balance between a lightweight construction, impressive stiffness and lasting comfort, weighing in at 70g less than its predecessor, with dialled-in frame flex to smooth out road surfaces without the bounce. Flanked by the reshaped seat tube that has been slimmed down for more vertical compliance so it can flex with the terrain and refined tube profiles, it’ll offer 25% more compliance than the race-focused Addict RC and a whopping 50% more than the previous Addict generation.

Scott have also refined the Addict’s geometry with precision, shortening the reach and offering a higher stack for a more relaxed geometry that seats you in a more upright position for increased comfort when you’re out on long rides. Rough roads are no longer a problem with the Addict 30’s ability to accommodate tyres up to 38mm, exhibiting improved vibration damping whilst maintaining confident grip when cornering, and the head tube and bottom bracket stiffness have been updated to contend with the Addict RC, so you’ll maintain this confidence in the precise handling and responsive power transfer.

Equipped with Shimano’s hydraulic disc brakes for efficient stopping power in a range of weather conditions and Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifters for an easy, smooth gear shifting experience, the Addict 30 has been optimised to adapt to your preferred use with integrated mounting points hidden under the top tube – perfect for attaching bags and bottle cages should you choose, with a D-shaped seatpost to accommodate rear lights for better visibility when travelling in low light or nighttime.
