The Scott Superguide 95 was one of our best-selling skis of the past few years, so we're always a little apprehensive when a brand changes something that's done so well.

We spent a week testing it in Austria to make sure that it was still the ski that owned the Scottish ski touring scene. It didn't disappoint! It's still got that lightweight uphill easy touring feel and retains the iconic chatter-free descending over hard pack freeze thawed off-piste. It felt a wee bit nicer to carve on the piste and is still happy charging at full tilt through powder as well. All in all, it's still a great lightweight ski for conquering steep ski tour ascents and handles superbly on the descents.

Rocker Type

The SCOTT Pro-Tip Rocker 320 is part of a family of rocker profiles for a range of different conditions the 320 is the first and foremost an all-terrain Profile offering versatility in all conditions so offers stability underfoot while also providing playfulness in deep snow. Pro-Tip Rocker is produced by combining a progressive shape with an increased tip height and radius creates Pro-Tip Rocker. Whatever the conditions, Scott's Pro-Tip offers a more versatile and forgiving ski.

Construction 

• Sandwich Sidewall Semi Elliptic Construction - Carbon/Aramid Fibers - Making a ski light is possibly one of the most important challenges, but keeping downhill performance is vital. This is why reinforcement has been incorporated across the length of the ski by combining Carbon/Aramid fibres along the length of the ski. Strips of carbon have also been strategically placed to increase torsional rigidity to create an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Resulting in a stable yet energetic ride in a light and quick, reliable package on the ascent but won't fail you on a well-earned descent.
