IT Helpdesk Technician - Tiso Head Office, Edinburgh, Leith F/T

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic IT Helpdesk Technician to join our IT Department based at our Offices in Leith. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in Information technology support and gain a deep understanding of all business aspects of a large retail operation. The role has been created to support the business’ recent investment in our new retail system, Eurostop, and will primarily involve handling support tickets and creating and growing a knowledge platform for Eurostop.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the primary role of an IT Helpdesk Technician is to provide telephone, email and remote support to all staff in a professional and courteous manner.  The main tasks are to log all issues via the helpdesk system and provide a first time fix of problems where possible, and to escalate the issue when required. 

Candidates must have good spoken and written language skills with a minimum of 1-year hands on experience of the following systems and software:

  • MS Office
  • MS Windows
  • PC Hardware configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience of using a Helpdesk system

Advantageous, knowledge and or experience of:

  • Working in a retail environment in a Customer Services role
  • Basic networking and security practices
  • Exposure to SQL and programming languages

Part Time Sales Assistant - Alpine Bikes Glentress - Alpine Bikes Glentress P/T

We are currently seeking applications for a Part Time Sales Assistant to work a variety of different shifts in the Alpine Bikes Glentress store.

The successful candidate will be a bike enthusiast with previous customer facing or retail experience and is passionate about the delivery of excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will also have some technical/mechanical knowledge of bikes, as part of this role will involve building bikes. Having a Cytech or similar qualification would be an advantage.

Part Time Sales Assistant - Blues Ski within the Tiso Aberdeen store - Tiso Aberdeen, John St P/T

Blues Ski within Tiso Aberdeen, is looking for a vibrant, fun and hardworking individual to join their team this winter. We’re a busy ski shop specialising in boot fitting and we need someone to fill them. All applicants must have some experience in the ski industry, not necessarily retail, and if you’ve got a thing for feet then all the better!

Blues have been fitting Scotland’s feet into ski boots for 50 years and is widely recognised as one of the best in the business.

Assistant Merchandiser - Tiso Head Office - Tiso Head Office, Edinburgh, Leith F/T

We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Buying & Merchandising department as an Assistant Merchandiser at our Head Office in Leith, Edinburgh.

Day to day responsibilities will revolve around forecasting and analysing sales and stock across a wide range of products, to ensure that the right stock is in the right place at the right time in order to maximise sales and availability while controlling the overall stock-holding, providing analysis to support decision making within the Commercial Team and working closely with buying, retail management and other functions across the business and also with key suppliers.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Proactive and able to prioritise their workload
  • Able to deal with ad hoc requests as well as ensuring that all their day to day tasks are completed on time to a high standard
  • A strong team player
  • Be able to influence and work productively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Having an interest in the outdoors would be a distinct advantage.

Candidates will also need to demonstrate:

  • Experience of working at an Allocator/Assistant Merchandiser level
  • High levels of numerical and analytical ability
  • Commercially astute and confident decision making with the ability to communicate across levels
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage own workload
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel
  • Experience of WSSIs, and allocation/replenishment processes, weekly, monthly and seasonal reporting and sales and stock analysis
