Outdoor Experience Card Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which you can use your Outdoor Experience Privilege Card. Please read them carefully as they contain important information and keep a copy of them for your reference.

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the Outdoor Experience Privilege card provided to you by Graham Tiso Limited (the “Card”) and govern the relationship between Graham Tiso Limited (“we” or “us”) and members of the scheme run by Graham Tiso Limited in respect of the Card.

1.2 The promoter of the Card is Graham Tiso Ltd Limited, 41 Commercial Street, Leith, Edinburgh, EH6 6JD company number SC81944, VAT registration number 917907105 and, for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, Graham Tiso Limited and all corporate members associated with it (Blues Ltd and Alpine Bikes Ltd.) will be referred to together as “Tiso Group”.

1.3 Products may be excluded from the Card at the sole discretion of Tiso. Details of such excluded products will be available on our website www.tiso.co.uk (“the Website”)

1.4 By using the Card you indicate that you accept these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you may not use your Card. If there is anything you do not understand, please contact our Customer Card Services department either by email at memberenquiries@tiso.co.uk . Or by phone on 0131 554 9101 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm).

1.5 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the Website and your continued use of the Card shall constitute your acceptance to be bound by the latest Terms and Conditions.

1.6 The construction, validity and performance of these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the Law of Scotland and the Scottish Courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction in any disputes between you and Graham Tiso Ltd.

2. Outdoor Experience Privilege Cards

2.1 With your Tiso outdoor Experience Card, you will receive a 10% discount on the total value of the transaction you make on that occasion, excluding all sale, bikes, water sports, tents and gift vouchers.

2.2 A Card is only valid once it is registered and has been delivered to your designated delivery address. In order to register a Card, you must provide your name, address and e-mail details. See the Data Protection Statement at clause 6 for details of how this information will be used.

2.3 If you need to change any of the details you have registered with your Card, please notify us of the changes you require at memberenquiries@tiso.co.uk . Please note that it is your responsibility to notify us of any changes to your details.

2.4 In purchasing the Card, you agree to be contacted by e-mail on a regular basis to receive information regarding exclusive promotions, offers and events applicable to the Card cardholders.

2.5 You are able to unsubscribe from all Card communications by emailing your request to; memberenquiries@tiso.co.uk , but doing so may make it more difficult for you to gain the full benefit from your Card.

2.6 A Card can only be registered in the name of an individual who is resident in the UK and is over the age of 18 at the time of registration.

2.7 Only one Card can be registered per individual.

2.8 A Card is valid for 12 months from the time of its registration.

2.9 To obtain your discount when purchasing online you must enter a valid discount code as shown on your welcome letter.

2.10 Once validated, in accordance with clause 2.1 - 2.8, a Card:

2.10.1 is non-refundable, non-transferable and can only be used by the person whose signature is on the card;

2.10.2 Cannot be used as a credit card, debit card or a cheque guarantee card;

2.10.3 is for any purchase made by the cardholder of goods from Graham Tiso Ltd., Alpine Bikes Ltd and Blues Ltd.

2.10.4 cannot be used for any transaction during a Club Night event.

2.11 Card cannot be used in conjunction with staff discount, affiliate or organizational discounts.

3. Loss, Theft or Damage

3.1 Loss of your Card will prevent you receiving any further discount on your purchases until such time as a replacement card had been sent to your designated delivery address.

3.2 You should immediately report any loss, theft, fraudulent or unauthorised use of your Card by contacting our Customer Card Services department in accordance with clause 1.4.

3.3 In the event of loss, theft, fraud or other unauthorised use of your Card, or if your card is damaged or malfunctions, we may, at our sole discretion, replace your Card.

3.4 When it is authorised, we will post out a replacement card directly to your home address.

3.5 We reserve the right to charge a fee of 5GBP for each replacement Card.

3.6 If you subsequently find or retrieve a Card which you had previously reported lost or stolen, you must notify Customer Card Services immediately in accordance with clause 1.4 above.

4. Complaints Procedure

4.1 We aim to deal with all complaints as effectively and fairly as possible. If you wish to make a complaint regarding any element of the Card Scheme please contact us either:

5. Data Protection Statement

5.1 We would like to use any of your details you submit to us, plus details on how you use your Card and what you buy in our stores, to: help manage the Card Scheme and improve the way we run it; understand our customers’ shopping habits to improve our service. Unless you indicate otherwise, we will contact you with information about goods and services in addition to those related to the Card scheme which we feel may be of interest to you.

5.2 We will share your details among businesses that process Card information on our behalf (e.g. card manufacturers who need certain details to manufacture your card and dispatch it to your designated delivery address) only for the purposes of fulfilling our obligations under these Terms and Conditions in respect of the Card Scheme. We may also use and share anonymised information relating to groups of customers, without identifying individuals, to learn more about our customers’ behavior and find ways of enhancing our service.

6. Variation and Cancellation

6.1 If at any time you wish to cancel your Card you may do so by returning your Card to our Customer Card Services Department in accordance with clause 5 above. If you cancel your Card you will not receive a refund.

6.2 We reserve the right, at any time and without notice, to:

6.2.1 amend or waive any provision of these Terms and Conditions from time to time; and/or

6.2.2 terminate the Card Scheme; and/or

6.2.3 decline to issue Cards; and/or

6.2.4 on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel Cards, where reasonable grounds shall include (but not be limited to): any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme; and/or any use or attempted use of a Card in a manner which is contrary to these Terms and Conditions; and/or any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty we may have on your part in connection with the Card Scheme.
