Wild Country Syncro Harness


Wild Country have issued a recall – subject to user inspection – of their Syncro Harnesses. A very small quantity of harnesses manufactured and sold in 2016 contain waist belt faults that could cause failure during use. In the interest of customer safety, Wild Country have issued an immediate recall.


Some Syncro Harnesses may have a manufacturing fault which will cause one of the waist belt buckles to slip under load. Although no accidents have been reported, in the interest of customer safety, Wild Country require an immediate recall of any said harnesses sold and manufactured in 2016 in order to both inspect and replace them.

Products affected

This recall concerns Syncro Harnesses manufactured and sold in 2016 with the following batch code: 01 A 01 16. You can locate the batch code inside the waist belt of the harness, marked on the label. An image illustrating the batch code location can be found by clicking here.

What to do

If you own a Syncro Harness which has the batch code 01 A 01 16 and was manufactured and sold in 2016, you must return it to either the retailer or Wild Country directly. You can return the item to any Tiso store however you will require proof of purchase.

If, for some reason, you are unable to return the harness to the retailer, you can also send it back to Wild Country by post. Details can be found by clicking here. Wild Country will then replace the faulty product as soon as possible with a replacement harness, tested and inspected to the highest standards.
